TRAITORS stars Ellie Buckley and Ross Garshong have holidayed at the same hotel after striking up a secret friendship before appearing on the show.

Some fans are convinced the two Faithfuls have “cheated” by hiding their connection — potentially giving them an advantage.

And The Sun on Sunday can add to the intrigue by revealing the pair, both from London, have posted holiday snaps from the same Tenerife location since filming ended in May.

Psychologist Ellie, 33, shared bikini pictures taken at the five-star Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort, captioned: “Some winter sun is good for the soul.”

Meanwhile, personal trainer Ross, 37, posted two Instagram snaps of himself applying suncream, captioned: “Suns out, guns out. Holiday gains in Tenerife! Quick question — do you train on holiday?”

A fan wrote: “With Dr Ellie?” Another added: “The scandal!”

Back in March, two months before filming, Ross commented on a LinkedIn post shared by Ellie about artificial intelligence, gushing: “Great post!”

Ellie also shared a post on LinkedIn in 2023 for a London fundraising walk. Ross gave it a thumbs-up at the time.

Both posts have mysteriously since been removed.

Speaking ahead of The Traitors airing this week, Ross and Ellie both said they would consider putting prize money towards buying a property.

Ross then set tongues wagging after Friday night’s show, seen by six million viewers, by admitting he had “ a secret”.

During the first episode of the new series on New Year’s Day, viewers discovered Ross knew another fellow contestant, Netty Osterberg, from around 15 years ago.

She was banished from the game on Friday.

Ross said: “I was honestly a bit relieved — plus the darker part, I’m keeping a secret so it is honestly a huge weight off my shoulders.”

Fans of the BBC blockbuster reckon that if two players know each other from before the game they can more easily work together to identify the Traitor and avoid being “murdered”. If one is a Traitor, they can protect the other.

Armchair sleuths also pointed to a further clue the pair could be a couple, saying their “first” meeting on a train on the first episode appeared awkward.

Shaking hands across a table, Ross said: “I live and work in London — what about yourself?”

He appeared surprised when Ellie replied: “Yeah, I also live in London!”

One fan commented on social media: “If you live in London and someone else says they do too, you wouldn’t be surprised.”

Last night’s episode featured a private conversation in which Ellie asked: “What do you think about Stephen?”
