Japanese Boxer Jin Sasaki Had One Of The Coldest Walk-Off Knockouts Of All Time [VIDEO]

He bided his time before delivering a wicked KO.

Japanese boxer Jin Sasaki dropped an opponent with a sensational knockout blow after withstanding a barrage of punches on Thursday night. He’s since been credited with one of the coldest walk-off knockouts in boxing history.

Sasaki squared up with Filipino Marlon Pagalpalan in Tokyo, Japan, where he earned a much-needed win, having previously lost to Brian Norman Jr. in 2025.

Pagalpalan got off some rapid-fire punches in the second round, bombarding Sakasi with a flurry of fists. But the Japanese remained stoic, keeping his hands up to protect his jaw and his body, waiting for the right moment.

He then struck out of nowhere, connecting with a vicious left hook that immediately floored his opponent.

“bro was saving up for his ult,” one read.

“Why did I read that as Jin Sakai?” another read, referencing the main character from the popular video game, ‘Ghost of Tsushima’.

“I believe I am not the only one that was insulting him until he threw that one punch,” someone admitted.

“And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why you don’t throw 30 shot combos😂,” another laughed.

“This shows unfortunately that I don’t know as much about boxing as I would like. I was wondering why the ref didn’t stop the fight as the other fighter didn’t seem to be fighting back,” a user confessed.

Jin Sasaki’s latest win moves him to 20-2-1 and sees him resume winning ways eight months after losing to Norman Jr.

This has to be one of his most impressive victories ever.
