Gerwyn Price Leaked DM From Jake Paul After Saying He Would Knock Him Out Cold

Price didn’t expect a response from the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

Gerwyn Price received a direct message from Jake Paul after claiming he could knock the YouTuber-turned-boxer “out cold” with a single punch.

“The Iceman”, who is currently ranked ninth in the PDC Order of Merit, has an impressive sporting CV. He was a hooker for Neath and Cross Keys in the Welsh Premier League and featured for rugby league sides South Wales Scorpions and Blackwood Bulldogs.

He was even called up to play for Wales Dragonhearts in 2013 before ending his rugby career a year later to concentrate on playing darts full-time.

Since switching sports, Price has lifted multiple major titles on the oche, including the World Grand Prix and three Grand Slam of Darts titles, but what about a foray into the boxing world?

Speaking to talkSPORT in February – shortly after the former world champion created his own YouTube channel – the idea of facing Jake Paul if he reached the 100,000 subscriber mark was put to Price.

“That’s easy. I look forward to that,” he smiled. “He’s a YouTuber; he’s not a fighter, is he? I’ve got 999,000 followers to go.”

The idea of facing Paul at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff was soon brought up in conversation. “He’ll never beat me in Wales,” Price said. “Nobody beats me in Wales. He’d probably beat Canelo (if they fought in Mexico), but he’s not beating me, no.”

Asked what would happen to Paul if they met in the ring, Price added: “I think it would just be one punch, and it would be all over. Out cold; it would be a waste of money for people to tune in.”

A month later, the Welshman was asked if Paul had responded to his callout.

“He’s seen it, he’s messaged me. He wrote back to me,” the 40-year-old said, before pulling out his phone to reveal an Instagram DM from Paul. It allegedly read: “Come to Greece man just name a price.”

Price didn’t immediately respond to the message and joked: “I was a bit scared! Nah, I need to get some training in.”

Gerwyn Price has completed ‘one of the most difficult feats in sport’

Away from darts, Price is a talented snooker player. In fact, he has a championship-sized snooker table in the basement of his home in Markham and often posts updates on his Instagram page.

Asked what his highest break was during an interview with The Guardian in December last year, he replied: “On that table? I’ve had a 96. Highest ever, 108. I won’t do a Shaun Murphy and lie about having a 147!”

A few weeks later and the Welshman smashed his previous record of 108 by making his first-ever 147 break, posting a clip of the achievement on Instagram alongside the caption: “When you make your first 147 break [shocked face emoji]. And my phone dies.”

Hitting a 147 break is considered to be one of the most difficult achievements in sport.

Last year, Michael van Gerwen was asked whether it is harder to achieve a hole-in-one in golf, a nine-dart leg in darts or a 147 in snooker.

Speaking on the Happy Hour Podcast, he said: “147. 100 per cent,” before adding: “There are so many more factors. I think the hole-in-one is the easiest. I know people who have done a hole-in-one who have a handicap of 15 or 16 but an average darts player can’t get a nine-darter.”

KSI Leaked Private DM Model Sent Him About Jake Paul After Penis Size Comment

KSI and Jake Paul have been feuding for years, with a number of jabs either side on social media.

KSI leaked a message he received from a model who was told to roast him in a Jake Paul music video.

KSI and Paul have been rivals for years now and have constantly gone back and forth. Despite the animosity between them and rumours, the two have never squared off in a boxing bout as mooted.

Though both have locked horns with Tommy Fury, it is Paul who has had the bigger fights and paydays – making a reported £68 million for his Netflix superfight with Anthony Joshua.

The Problem Child was brutally knocked out in the sixth round in Miami and suffered a broken jaw that means he will be eating liquids only for around a week.

KSI couldn’t resist aiming a dig at Paul, brother of his business partner Logan, taking to X to write, “Congratulations AJ” with a picture of Paul’s priceless face expression as he was walloped by the two-time heavyweight champion.

He teased him further on Instagram with additional pictures and in a second follow-up post on X, wrote: “Now I just need an Arsenal win and Andrew Tate to get knocked out and then this will be a fantastic weekend.”

The feud between two of the biggest YouTubers in the game dates back many years and back in 2020, KSI provided a reaction to one of Paul’s music videos.

The commentary video amassed 16 million views and saw KSI appear astonished during the start of the song’s video as one model asked Paul when he was fighting ‘The Nightmare’.

He replied, “Whenever he stops playing FIFA”. But more insults were to come as one girl claimed that KSI had attempted to DM her, with a model with a British accent adding, “Girl same but I heard it was like this [small]” – in a reference to his penis.

However, the joke wasn’t quite on KSI as in his video, he proceeded to reveal a DM from the girl in question – who told him that she did not mean any offence by the scene as she claimed she was just “delivering my lines”.

The message read: “Ok I’ve got a funny story here. The girl that was acting in this little scene actually DM’d me. Let me show you real quick.

“Dude, I was the girl with the ‘British accent’ in Jake Paul’s music video ‘roasting you’ and I just want to say I was just delivering my lines. I don’t even know if you’re going to see this, but I was just doing a job and I hope you didn’t take offense! Much love to both you and Jake!”

Commenting on the intro to the video, KSI added: “I don’t know it’s just funny innit’. So pretty much after that, this whole intro is dead now. We move. It’s so funny when they’re like, they heard my penis is like this [small] – it’s just not though!”

KSI has not fought since his bout with Fury and a hand injury kept him on the sidelines for a considerable period.

Nakisa Bidarian, Paul’s business partner at Most Valuable Promotions, has hinted that they could meet in a 2026 superfight at Madison Square Garden – though the latter’s injury could delay proceedings.

What Gerwyn Price Did Moments Before World Championship Exit

Gerwyn Price was one of the favourites for the 2026 World Darts Championship but suffered a second round exit.

Wesley Plaisier produced one of the biggest shocks of the 2026 World Darts Championship after he dumped out 2021 world champion Gerwyn Price on Sunday evening.

One of the favourites for the tournament, Price eased past Adam Gawlas in the first round and already looking at the bracket, many were looking at a showdown beat the Iceman and reigning champ Luke Littler in the last eight.

Full of confidence, Price had predicted he would go all the way and become a two-time champion.

He returned to the oche on Sunday night at Alexandra Palace and squared off against Dutchman Plaisier in the second round.

Although he often plays the pantomime villain, the Welshman was loudly cheered by the fans in attendance as they got behind him.

But even with the support, Price, who had a 95.83 average, could not find his usual level on the board as Plasier continued to put constant pressure on.

After both men missed two darts at double tops, Plaisier secured the whitewash 3-0 with double ten to secure the biggest upset of the tournament.

When he missed his double, Price showed his class by putting his thumbs up to the crowd – almost accepting his fate but acknowledging they way in which the fans cheered for him in a surprising manner.

The last time Price failed to make the third round was back in 2019 and he has now suffered a loss to his lowest ever ranked opponent in the tournament.

Plaisier had never made it past the second before until tonight but did so in emphatic fashion with a statement victory.

The world No.92 was stunned about his heroics, calling it the “biggest victory ever” and expressing disbelief over how he pulled it off.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Plaisier said: “I can’t believe it, I’m so over the moon. It’s my biggest victory ever. I don’t know how I did it.”

The 35-year-old will be back in action after the Christmas break when he comes up against Krzysztof Ratajski of Poland.

For Price, however, it is back to the drawing board before the Bahrain Darts Masters in January.
