Meghan Markle slammed for ‘breathtaking hypocrisy’ after one awkward moment

Meghan Markle has been called “hilariously egotistical and breathtakingly hypocritical” following a comical moment in the US. The Duchess of Sussex’s relationship with wealthy cosmetics mogul Victoria Jackson, 70, has faced scrutiny in the past week after it emerged the entrepreneur has regularly let her and Prince Harry stay at her various mansions for free.

Jane Moore, a regular panellist on Loose Women, has taken aim at Meghan for this reason. The journalist wrote: “Both hilariously egotistical and breathtakingly hypocritical considering she and Prince Harry have repeatedly criticised the Royal Family that bestowed the ‘Sussex’ title on them.”

Jane referred to a recent moment in one of Victoria’s lavish pads where Meghan had an interview with a journalist from a magazine. Although there were only two people in the room, Meghan was formally announced by the house manager as Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, ahead of their meeting. It left social media users in hysterics last week.

With Prince Harry being given £15million to share his side of the story in 2023, the Daily Mail has suggested Andrew could receive as much as £25million for putting pen to paper. The paper quoted a literary agent, saying: “We’re looking at maybe £25 million. With the right ghost-writer asking him the right questions, we could see the history of the House of Windsor completely rewritten with what he knows. He’s a time-bomb waiting to explode.”

Police probe as trees planted by Prince William ‘deliberately poisoned’

Police are probing why willow trees planted as part of Prince William’s reforestation project were deliberately poisoned. The trees are located in a fenced enclosure on an area of common land and a site of special scientific interest, known as the Forest of Dartmoor, on Duchy of Cornwall land. Willows had been chosen to prevent the erosion of the site’s peaty soils and reduce flood risk. However, these trees have been singled out and attacked. They are believed to have been killed with a herbicide, which experts believe to be glyphosate. A Natural England spokesperson told The Guardian that an investigation had been launched.

Royal fans left in stitches by Prince Edward’s aggressive cake-cutting approach

It’s not unusual for the youngest of Queen Elizabeth’s children to take a unique approach to cake cutting, but earlier this week the Duke of Edinburgh took it to the next level. During his royal visit to Ghana, Edward enthusiastically cut a massive cake in a celebration prepared by the British High Commission. Taking to the stage as the host of the event could be heard counting down from six over a microphone, the prince appeared on great form as he waved the knife high in the air and then throwing his hand down to slice it as soon as zero was announced. He quickly cut through the cake and immediately waved the knife in the air as the crowd cheered. Smiling as everyone around him cheered, Edward couldn’t resist tasting a bit of the frosting.

Queen Camilla made a rare political comment about the ongoing Ukraine war on Thursday evening during a reception at the Guildhall. Members of the Royal Family reportedly always have to take black clothes with them when they go away.

This is in case there is a death while they are away and they need a mourning outfit.
