Jake Paul was worse for wear after his loss to Anthony Joshua on Friday night.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer faced off with the British heavyweight in a highly anticipated bout heading into the weekend. The fight, which aired live on Netflix, ended in the first knockout loss of Paul’s career.

Having previously beaten Mike Tyson in a similar event, Paul was eager to prove he could stand up against a boxer still in his prime. But he will now be aware that it takes a lot more than what he’s used to after fighting aged boxers or MMA fighters with no boxing background.

Meanwhile, he’s now looking to fight in a lower weight class following the loss.

“I think my jaw is broken by the way. It’s definitely broke,” he said, per ESPN. “Man that was good. Nice little a-whopping from one of the best to ever do it. I love this s**t and I’m going to come back and get a world championship belt.

“We will heal the broken jaw, come back and fight people my weight. I’m going for the cruiserweight world title,” he added.

His jawbone was actually broken in two places, which required surgery.

Paul has also shared images and videos of his scans, showing the double fracture.

It will take him 8 to 12 weeks to recover. However, full-contact activity will require even more time.
