Bad Bunny wasn’t so hot on touring in the United States, but he’s suddenly excited to return to the stage on American soil, having been named the Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show performer in one of the most controversial revelations of its kind.

The NFL unveiled the Puerto Rican rapper as its selection for the halftime break at the upcoming championship game, with Roc Nation CEO and founder Jay-Z making the pick.
Fans have threatened to boycott the show since finding out that it will be headlined by Bad Bunny, but he’s looking forward to it.
“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” he said in a statement, per the New York Times. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history.
