Coronation Street fans think they have ‘discovered’ who will be the five characters who will be revealed as the possible victims of a murd3r, as Betsy Swain is set to make a grim discovery.

New spoilers for what’s ahead next week in the ITV soap have revealed how the teenager will be the one to discover a dead body as part of a previously confirmed special flashforward.

It was previously revealed that a Weatherfield resident, who we now know is Betsy, will find an unknown character dead on the street before the long-running show reveals the five potential victims it could be.

The spoilers confirm that next Monday (February 16), the episode of Corrie begins with a jittery Betsy being quizzed by the police about finding a dead body, as the detective restarts the tape, it is revealed that the interview is actually happening on a date in April.

The episode alternates between real time and the day of the murd3r and ends with the reveal of five potential victims. Who has been murd3red and who is the killer in Weatherfield?

Well, Corrie fans have been trying to work out the victim ever since producer Kate Brooks confirmed that upcoming special episode back in January. Villains Carl Webster, Megan Walsh and Theo Silverton have been among the popular names mentioned thanks to their wrongdoings.

Now, some Corrie fans think they have predicted all five of those who could be killed off in the coming months. @SwainsCoat said: “Today’s episode highlighted 5 people: Theo, Megan, Jodie, Carl and Mal. Odds on those being the 5 potential victims?” @missmollybruton replied: “This is exactly my thinking as well!!”

@marianmallon54 echoed: “Yes it looks that way.” @leebpool14 suggested: “I think it could be Megan. Maybe Maggie finds out about her and will…” @WhoPotterVian noted: “Jodie would seem a little random. I can’t think of many people who would want to kill her. Obviously things are eventually going to go bad between Shona, David, and Jodie, so Shona and David may want to do her harm, and maybe by extension Lily as well, but that’s only #Corrie.”
