TODAY star Sheinelle Jones has shared her new hosting job as fans cheer her on for her latest accomplishment.

Sheinelle shared a post to her personal Instagram account to bring the news to her followers.

It was an announcement posted by the official Real Simple magazine account.

It featured a smiling Sheinelle, 45, in a white tank top with her hands on her hips.

She wore her long hair in curls down her back, with light makeup and hoop earrings.

The image announced that Sheinelle would be hosting the 2024 Real Simple Half Marathon.

“We’re excited to announce @sheinelle_o from the @todayshow as the host of our first ever-half marathon in New York City’s Central Park,” the image caption read.

“Sheinelle is an avid runner herself who constantly motivates us, and will help all our marathon guests push forward to the finish line. Join us and Sheinelle on Sunday, April 28th for an unforgettable day; click the link in our bio to register.”

Fans took to the post to congratulate Sheinelle on her accomplishment.

“Way to go!” one wrote.

“Yesss go Sheinelle!!” another commented.

“Fantastic!” wrote a third.

FAMILY TIME

Recently, Sheinelle gave fans a look at her home life with her husband and kids.

She shared new photos with her family celebrating Christmas together as she took some time off from the morning show.

At the time, Sheinelle revealed how she celebrated the holiday, including wearing matching pajamas with her loved ones.

The Today personality and her husband, Uche Ojeh, share 14-year-old Kayin and twins Clara and Uche, 11.

In the first festive snap, Sheinelle wore matching blue-and-green pajamas with her son Uche as they smiled in front of their fireplace.

Stockings with everyone’s names were hung on the mantle behind them.

The next shot featured the whole family sitting together on the stairs, with everyone except Sheinelle’s husband wearing the same PJs.

Twins Clara and Uche goofed around in another photo as they laughed with their arms around one another.

Kayin sat on the couch in a hoodie, pajama pants, and a beanie while playing his bass guitar in one of the pics.

The final shot saw Sheinelle smiling for a solo selfie in front of a stocking that read, “Mrs,” in front of the fireplace.

“Sending you love wherever you are today.

“For me, all that matters is that we’re together. Merry Christmas everyone!” the mom-of-three wrote in the caption.

‘FAVORITE TRADITION’

Around the holidays, Sheinelle showed off a very different look as she resurfaced from a lengthy absence.

She ditched her usual polished look and outfits for the “off-duty” vibe instead.

The TV host then went to her Instagram profile to share a recent holiday experience she had while lighting a “tiny tree” in the Today Show newsroom.

“This has become one of my favorite traditions @todayshow – we light a tiny tree each day in the newsroom – taking turns. Today was my day with CJ – AKA “The Mayor” of #rockefellercenter,” she captioned her clip.

“He looks out for everyone and he has a heart of gold, I figured I’d take you behind the scenes with a tiny clip of our happy little office celebration. Happy Holidays everybody! If you come to 30 Rock, CJ will probably be there to greet you with a smile!” Sheinelle continued.

Sheinelle was clad in a gray hoodie with a light-colored top underneath.

She decided to wear a pair of loose jeans and a pair of white platform sneakers.

Even her hair was worn in a casual style, less polished than usual, though curled a bit around her shoulders.

It was a much different outfit than she typically opts for when appearing on TV.

CRAZY CO-HOSTS

It wasn’t the first time Sheinelle had let her professional mask slip a bit.

In an earlier Instagram post, the official Today Show Instagram account shared a clip where a title on-screen read: “Anchors on-air vs. anchors off-air.”

While the “on-air” version showed the group sitting for the PopStart segment and running through the news calmly, “off-air” told a different story.

Craig Melvin, 44, was the first to be featured and was filmed in a long jacket as he quickly left the New York studio.

The daytime TV star got up close to the camera and yelled an elongated “HEY” with a huge smile as he continued walking along.

Next, Hoda Kotb, 59, was shown ditching her usual professional wardrobe for a fluffy pink scarf, gloves, and hat, singing “Bye,” as she strutted out of the door into the cold weather.

Savannah Guthrie, 51, and Sheinelle were next to be captured as they walked out together.

The duo looked glam in their hair, makeup, and stylish outfits from the show, layered with chic wool coats.

Sheinelle jokingly revealed to the camera: “Wait, I just learned something. Savannah just said ‘Hundo P,’ do you know what that means? 100 per cent.”

Sassing back at Sheinelle’s mocking tone, Savannah said: “Yeah, you knew what I meant!”

The hilarious video was captioned: “We’re all @craigmelvinnbc,” along with a screaming emoji.
