Nicola Peltz posted about “family” in her first post since relations with her husband Brooklyn and his parents imploded over the weekend.

The already-rocky relationship between the Beckham’s eldest, his parents Victoria and David and his brothers took a worrying turn after the entire clan found themselves ‘blocked’ on social media by the amateur chef. Brooklyn’s youngest brother Cruz broke rank to reveal publicly that Brooklyn had shunned his entire family on purpose even little sister Harper were also ruthlessly removed.

It was the first time one of the Beckhams has spoken publicly about the fallout. The feud ramped up this year with Brooklyn notably missing his dad’s birthday party in May and ignored his knighthood later this year. He further rubbed salt in the wound by telling wife Nicola ‘I will always choose you’ after skipping the family events.

After Brooklyn’s unfollowing spree at the weekend, his wife Nicola returned to Instagram with a seeming dig at ‘families’. Posting a photo of her billionaire Nelson Peltz – looking happy behind four colourful candles she penned: “Happy Hanukah from our family to yours.”

Nicola’s family invited Brooklyn to join with them as they marked the Jewish Festival of Lights. Fans have also spotted that the Beckhams would not have been able to respond to Nicola’s post as she’s followed suit with her husband and appears to have blocked them from social media too as they no longer follow the socialite.

It comes as yet another blow to the Beckhams amid their ongoing fallout with Nicola, 30, and their eldest son. It appears the LA-based couple aren’t keen for any Christmas reunion, and reportedly want his family in the UK to “back off” and leave them alone in the hope it’ll bring them all peace during the festive period.

A friend of the Peltz Beckhams has reportedly said: “It would be really in the holiday spirit if the Beckhams could just back off and leave them alone for now… Nicola and Brooklyn haven’t been commenting. They just want peace.

“It would be best for everyone for them [the Beckhams] to stop contacting, commenting and briefing because it’s not accomplishing anything. They have requested that the Beckhams back off. They just want to be left alone… They get upset by the speculation. They are trying to take the high road which is not to react at all and to just live their lives.”

This weekend, The Mail reported that David and Victoria both removed Brooklyn from their social media following – a claim refuted by their younger son Cruz. The 20-year-old posted a story claiming that he, his mum and dad had all been blocked. “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I,” Cruz wrote.

Brooklyn reportedly blocked his family on social media after mum Victoria liked a post about him roasting a chicken. According to The Sun, Brooklyn became annoyed at his mum’s public display of affection and blocked the whole family.

‘”It appears that Brooklyn has blocked them to show them that’s it, this is final. It is very clear that this is a sign of his complete estrangement from his family,” a source told the press. Barring any suddent change of heart, Brooklyn won’t be joining the rest of his family at their £10million Cotswolds home for Christmas despite their efforts to extend an olive branch. Instead, they will be spending the festive season with Nicola’s family in Miami.

The feud is thought to have kicked off during the lead-up to Brooklyn’s 2022 nuptials with American heiress and actress Nicola Peltz. Reports suggested that wedding planning caused a stir, and there were claims that the Peltz clan were miffed at the Beckhams for not chipping in financially to support the couple’s lavish California lifestyle.

Tensions hit fever pitch when Brooklyn and Nicola were no-shows at David’s birthday bash in May – despite jetting to London specifically for the occasion. The couple are believed to have boycotted the do after discovering his former flame – who is dating his brother Romeo – would be in attendance. Brooklyn also snubbed his father on Father’s Day.

It has been suggested that Brooklyn’s choice to buy a new property in LA and establish roots in the American city was linked to his desire to create lasting distance from his parents and their base in London and the Cotswolds.

However, an insider refuted this claim. Speaking to the Daily Mail, they said: “This house has nothing to do with family dynamics. David and Victoria also own property in the US, this is no different.

“Both Nicola and Brooklyn’s careers are based in Los Angeles, and Brooklyn spent part of his childhood there while his father played for LA Galaxy. During that time, he attended school in LA for several years and built a life and friendships in the city. LA has always felt like home to him.”
