Good Morning Britain guest roars ‘let me finish or it’s pointless!’ at stunned Kate Garraway as string of interruptions seriously backfire
A Good Morning Britain guest was left frustrated after Kate Garraway kept interrupting him during an interview about Keir Starmer‘s handling of the Peter Mandelson scandal.
Migration and Citizenship Minister Mike Tapp, 41, pleaded with the presenter to ‘let him finish’ speaking after she angrily told him that the Labour Party‘s vetting process was a failure.
He snapped: ‘Please do let me finish because otherwise it’s almost pointless interviewing me!’
But this did not deter the presenter, 58, who continued to interrupt the politician with her anger over Mandelson’s appointment to the role of British Ambassador to the United States in 2025.
He added: ‘I get what you’re saying, but if you let me finish.’
The presenter eventually backed off and Tapp explained that if there was a vetting failure, it was the responsibility of the government at large and not the Prime Minister himself.

Several scandalous details have emerged about Mandelson, 72, from the three million documents recently released by the US Department of Justice.
These include claims that he accepted $75,000 (£55,000) from the convicted paedophile in exchange for sensitive government information – an exchange that Mandelson himself said he cannot remember taking place.
Several photographs of the politician socialising topless with the paedophile also emerged.
Following the revelations, the Prime Minister apologised for giving the politician such a high-ranking role within his government.
However, he blamed intelligence services for failing to bring to light the ‘depth and darkness’ of Mandelson’s friendship with Epstein until now.
Now the documents surrounding Mandelson’s appointment as British Ambassador to the United States will be publicly released to assess what exactly went wrong.
However, this is not what the Prime Minister himself wanted, having said that he would have preferred the information to be assessed privately.

Following the revelations about Mandelson’s relationship with Epstein, the Prime Minister apologised for giving the politician such a high-ranking role within his government
The Prime Minister has lost the confidence of several members of his party in the wake of the scandal, including Harriet Harman, who has called for him to step down.
She said that the ‘gullible and weak’ Labour party leader issued an apology that was ‘nowhere near enough’ to Epstein’s victims and said that questions surrounding his suitability to do his job are arising ‘hour by hour’.
However, this is a view which Good Morning Britain interviewee Tapp does not share and he has remained in support of the Prime Minister.
The politician told Sky News: ‘I believe if we stick with Keir Starmer, which we will, then that corner will turn faster and people will start to feel it.
‘But I completely understand the anger and the distress at what’s happened with Peter Mandelson’s appointment.
‘I completely agree with that, and that’s why I’m really pleased to see a genuine, genuine apology from Keir Starmer.’
