Even Kentucky Fried Chicken is getting in on the jokes amid the Astronomer CEO’s saga.
Actually, he’s a former CEO now, having resigned on Friday, with the company revealing as much in a statement on Saturday.
Andy Byron’s tenure as the firm’s chief decision maker ended after he made one of the worst decisions of his life. The former CEO was caught red-handed snuggling up with the company’s HR head, who has since been placed on leave, while they were at a Coldplay concert in Boston on Wednesday night.
His affair was broadcast for the world to see, and he made it worse by trying to run away.

KFC knows a thing or two about keeping secrets, having kept their 11 herbs and spices classified for as long as they’ve been around. So they can spot a poorly kept one on sight.
The fast food chain threw some shade at Byron and Kristin Cabot following their Coldplay ordeal, taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to state that their “sides are always HR approved.”
just know our sides are always HR approved 🥶
