NO LONGER A RUMOUR: The Emmerdale legend is OFFICIALLY gone after 25 years and Celia must take RESPONSIBILITY

Emmerdale’s villainous character, Celia Daniels, played by Jaye Griffiths, could be on the brink of murdering a soap legend, according to avid viewers.

Celia, a farmer who made her first appearance on the ITV soap earlier this year, quickly stirred up trouble as Moria Dingle’s (Natalie J Robb) neighbouring tenant and business partner.

However, it wasn’t long before Celia’s sinister side was unveiled. In a shocking plot twist, it was revealed that Celia is the brains behind the drug dealing operation in the Dales, with Ray Walters (Joe Absolom), her son, involved.

The pair have since manipulated young characters April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle). This week, Celia and Ray coerced April into visiting one of their clients, Callum, for s3xual purposes.

While April was at Callum’s house, a scheming Celia was on a date with April’s grandfather, Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw). To add to the intrigue, April’s father Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) also dropped by for a drink with Celia, oblivious to what she was making his daughter do, reports the Daily Star.

However, the situation at Callum’s house took a horrifying turn when he forced himself on April, despite her protests. In self-defence, she picked up a vodka bottle and struck Callum over the head, seemingly killing him.

In Friday’s episode (October 31), a distraught April informed Ray and Celia about the incident, leaving them enraged. Celia instructed Ray to get rid of the body while she returned to her date with April’s grandfather.

In a chilling moment alone with April, Celia ominously warned the teenager about the consequences of trying to escape her control, claiming she now “owns” her.

She proposed a sinister version of the game ‘snog, marry, avoid’, involving the “three most important men in” April’s life; Marlon, Bob and Dylan, stating: “My version is burn, stab, drown”.

This has led fans to speculate that Celia may actually commit murder. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one viewer expressed their frustration: “God I hate them Ray and Celia. Feel like busting the door down and rescuing poor April….”

Another commented on Celia’s threat to April: “The way she told April one of her family members will di3 if she doesn’t do what she says… so vile!” A third suggested Bob Hope could be the victim: “She might k!ll Bob.”

Another agreed, warning: “He needs to get away from her fast.” A fifth added: “I did think it was weird why she is getting so close to him. Something up her sleeve.”
