Strictly fans claim there is a clear winner as they take to social media with predictions ahead of grand final
Strictly Come Dancing fans are already certain they know who will take home the Glitterball Trophy just before the series finale.
As the final four couples prepare for their last dance, many viewers believe the win is all but secured for one pair.
Comedian Chris McCausland and his professional partner Dianne Buswell have quickly become fan favourites – with a growing number of supporters backing them to triumph over the other three finalists.
As the show’s first-ever blind contestant, Chris has captured the nation’s heart with his remarkable journey, defying expectations and showing that anything is possible.
Many fans are confident that they will win the public vote on Saturday night, and take home the coveted trophy against their fellow finalists Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec, JB Gill and Lauren Oakley.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, they said: ‘Hoping I finish work later to a Chris and Dianne win,’

Fans took to X to share their predictions
But despite his and Dianne’s strong performance in the hit BBC dance contest, which saw them sail through to the final this week, the pair have revealed that the past few days have been emotional and nearly left them in tears.
Speaking to It Takes Two host Janette Manrara, 41, Chris admitted that he’s still recovering.
He said: ‘Do you know what, I haven’t really truly recovered, it’s been an emotional few days this week and it’s been…I feel worn down.’
‘My resilience has been worn down and I kind of fell apart a bit on Saturday and I haven’t fully recovered.’
He added: ‘We’ve been, you know, training this week and I’ve had a few wobbles haven’t I?’
Dianne agreed, telling Chris: ‘You have, emotional wobbles’ Chris then added: ‘It’s incredible but I’m still feeling quite emotional.’
Dianne then opened up about how Chris has beaten the odds and turned a ‘weakness’ into a strength.
She told Janette: ‘I had a lot of messages tell me (at the start) that I would have a pretty quick season but we showed people that there’s so much more that is possible than what people actually think and that’s a real nice feeling, isn’t it Chris? to show that we can do more than what they think we can.’

She added: ‘And you never know, it might work out, and it certainly did.’
Discussing the comments on their latest dance, Chris told Janette: ‘Craig did say it needed more energy but I would like to say to Craig, that if I gave it any more energy then I would have left in an ambulance before the Viennese Waltz.’
On Saturday the dance partners will be bringing back from week three a Waltz to Liverpool anthem You’ll Never Walk Alone, and Dianne is hoping to improve Chris’ performance this time too.
Confessing his achievement so far this week almost reduced her to tears, she said: ‘His legs are stronger, the rise and fall is just so much more controlled.’
‘I watched it back and I watched the video of what we’ve been able to achieve this week and it almost sent me to tears because it’s improved so much since then, and it’s just incredible to see this improvement honestly.’
Last week, Chris and his partner Dianne scored 36 out of 40 for their Viennese waltz to Metallica track Nothing Else Matters, and the pair became emotional once they got back stage.

With his arm around Dianne, Chris held back tears as he told host Claudia Winkleman: ‘When you start this series, they ask you for a list of songs you like. And I put this song on it and didn’t know anything about dancing.’
‘Underneath it, I wrote “I reckon this might suit one of those spinny whizzy ones” and I was right! But it’s incredible and it felt wonderful to do it with Diane.’
Friends of the CBeebies star had come to support him in the studio audience at the semi-final, and he admitted he was an ’emotional wreck’ with them there.
He warned Claudia: ‘Don’t get me started, I’m an emotional wreck tonight. I’m telling you.’
He added: ‘You know what you’re doing is big when your really close mates don’t take the mickey out of you.’
