Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be celebrating Christmas this week miles away from the Royal Family – as they have done in recent years. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex last spent Christmas with the royals in Sandringham in 2018, the year they were married. They skipped the next year and quit the Firm in early 2020.

However, according to a royal book, an incident occurred during Christmas 2019, which was perceived as a major snub by the Duchess and led the couple to believe they had to sever ties with the Firm. The Sussexes spent Christmas in Canada with Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland and Prince Archie and were “infuriated” when they saw the late Queen’s Christmas message and none of the family portraits behind her featured them. Authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand claimed in their book, Finding Freedom: “One didn’t have to look further than the family photos displayed during the Queen’s Speech on Christmas Day. In the Green Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace , where the Queen delivered her address, viewers glimpsed photos of the [Waleses] and their children, Charles and Camilla, Prince Philip , and a black-and-white image of George VI. Noticeably absent was a photo of Harry, Meghan, and their new baby, Archie.”

The authors said Palace sources insisted the photos represented the “direct line of succession,” but the Sussexes were certain it was “yet another sign that they needed to consider their own path.”

Ghislaine Maxwell tried to arrange ‘fun girls’ for. Andrew

Ghislaine Maxwell attempted to arrange “pretty, intelligent” and “fun” female tour guides for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor during his official 2002 visit to Peru, newly released US court documents suggest. Emails show Maxwell forwarding a request for companions to assist with “two-legged sightseeing,” emphasising discretion and good family backgrounds.

The former prince, apparently using the alias “Invisible Man,” responded enthusiastically, signing off with “Love you A xxx.” The latest tranche of over 10,000 Epstein files also reveals FBI demands for Andrew to be questioned over ties to both Jeffrey Epstein and convicted sex offender Peter Nygard. US authorities sought details of any girls under 18 seen at Nygard’s properties and alleged Andrew knew Maxwell was procuring females for sex acts. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently denied all wrongdoing and was never interviewed by the FBI.
