Everyone Is Demanding Answers After New Video Surfaces On Social Media Inside Air India Plane

An Air India flight is under heavy scrutiny for the second time in less than a week.

A passenger on board Air India Express flight IX196, bound for Jaipur from Dubai, showed terrible conditions on a recent flight.

Passenger Aarzo Sethi criticized the crew for ignoring passengers and then showed her son and others sweating heavily inside the aircraft, which reportedly had zero air conditioning.

Passengers complained that they were forced to sit inside an Air India Express aircraft without air conditioning for five hours in the heat of Dubai airport.

Sethi boarded Flight IX196 from Jaipur to Dubai on Saturday and expected a normal flight. What followed, according to Sethi, was a bad experience that left passengers, including the children, swearing and helpless inside stationary aircraft.

The woman alleged that the passengers were made to sit inside the aircraft without air conditioning, updates, or any response from the crew.

 

In the footage below, passengers are visibly exhausted, wiping sweat and fanning themselves. They can also be seen repeatedly pressing the assistance button without any sign of help.

“This is my 3-year-old son, drenched in sweat,” she said in the video, adding, “We have been pressing the crew button for ages and no one has responded. This is the level of irresponsibility we are dealing with.”

“People love blaming companies, when what they really need is a moment of introspection to realise this is exactly what they voted for! Let that sink in. It’s called an election because you elect a government. Not the CEO or the workforce of a company—but a governance. That means elected ‘good folks’ who would make policies that works for citizens, take onus to enforce them, and punish those who break the rules. So by all means, keep voting but then also enjoy the perks that come with it. But maybe stop blaming the companies. Someone has to fund the narrative you chose at the ballot box,” one person said.

“It’s time that @DGCAIndia needs to ground @airindia completely and all manadarory checks and maintenance is careienour under direct supervision of a team of officials who should be held liable if any untoward incident takes place,” a second person stated.

“Madam, stop flying Air India,” a third person added.

“This is exactly what happened to us and then later when my friends travelled by Air India they left us all without water for most of the trip. Our Indian hostesses were only serving the business class they ignored the buzzers,” a fourth person wrote.

“Strange thing is people still complain and keep flying @airindia so what does AI think of flyers…this will never change, all my life I flew only once and I told the hostess as well that I will never ever fly AI again,I spend more on other airlines sometimes, but i value my life,” one final person commented.
