KSI’s Strict Terms for Jake Paul Fight as Gervonta Davis Bout Cancelled
Jake Paul’s fight against Gervonta Davis has been cancelled
KSI has made his terms to fight Jake Paul clear, after the American’s exhibition bout with Gervonta Davis was cancelled.
Paul had been scheduled to fight the lightweight world champion on November 14, live on Netflix, but Most Valuable Promotions have now confirmed the fight will not be going ahead.
The announcement came just days after a lawsuit was filed against Davis following fresh allegations that he attacked an ex-girlfriend.

According to the BBC, a civil lawsuit was brought by ex-girlfriend Courtney Rossel in Miami-Dade County, Florida, on October 30.
She is accusing the boxer of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Rossel is said to be seeking compensatory and punitive damages “of over $50,000” (£38,145), as well as a jury trial.
The cancellation has left the boxing world wondering who Paul could fight next, and whether a long-awaited bout with KSI could finally happen.

What are KSI’s terms?
Back in January 2023, KSI spoke to Mirror Fighting, where he outlined his demands to fight Paul.
He said: “Weight-wise, I’d love it to be 176lb, 177lb, but 180lb sounds perfectly fair, maybe even slap a rehydration clause – I know he’d want that!
“It has to be in the UK, I think I’m definitely the A-Side, I walk second, ring size I think it should be a nice 20-foot ring and I think that’s it that’s on my mind.
“I’m sure there’s other things money-wise that Mams [Taylor, his manager] and Nakisa [Bidarian, Paul’s manager] can deal with. 50-50 seems fair.
“I don’t think it should be 60-40 in anyone’s favour or anything. 50-50 makes sense.”

However, the fight has moved no closer to happening, with both camps growing increasingly frustrated by the other’s demands.
In May, speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Paul said: “They only want eight rounds.
“They just keep adding new stuff [to the negotiations] all the time, and I’m focused on much bigger things.
“I don’t [think it’s going to happen]. I’ve been saying this for five, six years, and this is a longer negotiation than Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao.
“I’m clearly the one who is an active fighter, I’m fighting everybody, so who’s the problem here?”
Most Valuable Promotions CEO Nakisa Bidarian said they attempted to organise terms with Wasserman Boxing in May, but no progress has been made.
Paul’s team still intend to headline an event on Netflix before the end of the year, and he told Sky Sports that talks are ongoing for a fight with Anthony Joshua next year.
