When the food arrived, Edward was seen throwing his chips at sister Rosie, seven, who had been quietly enjoying her own meal. Sam quipped: “Oi, oi! Excuse me!”

However, the little boy didn’t listen to his mum as soon caught the attention of other customers. Sam responded to one person: “Oh, yeah. I told him not to do it, but he’s not listening to me.”

The reality TV star then threatened her son with having to leave the restaurant, but it didn’t calm him down. Edward was filmed walking off from the table before reaching into Sam’s bag for her lip gloss.

She told him: “You can’t have that, it’s all sticky,” as she removed the item. “Come and sit down,” Sam urged but he didn’t listen as he wandered around the eatery.

Edward returned to the table with a large glass of apple juice and told his famous mum it was “heavy”. She asked: “Why are you so cheeky?”

Edward smiled as she added: “Yeah, you’re a cheeky, aren’t you?” Speaking to the camera, Sam admitted: “Let’s be honest, there’s no such thing as a peaceful lunch when you’ve got a two-year-old there.”

Things took another turn as Edward started crawling under a chair and around on the floor, with Sam asking him to stand up. “Mummy, I don’t want to,” he said. But, Sam had enough as she packed up and said: “I think it’s time to cut our losses and get out of here. Right, come on, then. Let’s go.”

The clip from the show was posted on TikTok, as many decided to take aim at Sam over her parenting. One said: “I took my daughter out to eat all the time,” one wrote.

“She sat in her chair ate her food and then played with what ever I took with us to occupy her. She was not allowed to get out of her chair and certainly did not throw her food at people. I’m sorry very poor parenting.”

Another added: “I’m sorry but her and Billie’s kids do what they want!” Someone else commented: “Gentle parenting doesn’t work! I’m sorry but he needs the complete opposite!”

A fourth shared: “No control of her kids at all. They are the same as Billie’s.” Yet others came to Sam’s defence as one said: “Leave her alone, it’s the most stressful age to take anywhere and she will be judged whatever she does.”

Another added: “Anyone else think that there’s nothing abnormal here??? It’s not going to be picture perfect! He’s tried and bored! Give the kids a break!”
