Patrick Mahomes might regret what he did to a Chargers defender on Friday night in Brazil.

In the second half, Mahomes used a mean shoulder charge to cap off a 15-yard scramble vs. the Chargers.

What really sucked for the Chargers defender is that he assumed Mahomes was simply going to go out of bounds, so he knew not to touch him.

Unfortunately for him, Patrick Mahomes used that to his advantage, dropping his shoulder into his body and dropping him.

“All I’m saying is that when someone hits Mahomes softly out of bounds and they throw a penalty, I’ll come back to this post. He can’t run dudes over and then expect to get flags when he fakes going out,” one person said.

“That’s a bunch of crap. The league has all defenders trained not to touch the QB. Mahomes was clearly going out of bounds, but he decides to take a cheap shot at the defender,” a second person wrote.

“That Mahomes scramble at the sidelines pisses me off. He was gonna run out of bounds DB let’s up, Mahomes drops his shoulder to DB. I can’t stand the Chiefs and Mahomes,” a third person commented.

“Mahomes is such a pussy bro. He always abuses the sideline rules so much when scrambling. Trucks the Chargers defender when it looked like he was walking out of bounds. Someone will put him in his place eventually,” one final person added.

In their season opener against the Chargers in Brazil on Friday, Kansas City notched just six points on two field goals in the first half.

Patrick Mahomes was slow, completing 12-of-21 passes for 98 passing yards in the first two quarters. He comes into the season with a chip on his shoulder after the Super Bowl blowout and Madden NFL disrespecting him with their rating.
