Fans now know who is in the Strictly Come Dancing 2025 final, after the identity of the three couples was leaked online late on Saturday night. And while they’re celebrating there’s been heartbreak for the celebrity and pro who have missed out, having been eliminated after the last dance-off of the series.

This year’s Strictly hasn’t been without its shocks, with Vicky Pattison, seen by many as a ‘dead cert’ for the final, going home just a week after topping the leaderboard with a near perfect score and then Lewis Cope crashing out last week, having been favourite to win at the start of the series.

The fact that consistent high scorer Lewis didn’t even make the semi final, having lost out to Amber Davies in last week’s judges’ vote, is sure to be on the minds of the remaining celebs as they battled to make the final with two dances on Saturday. At the end of a great night in the BBC ballroom, it was Karen Carney and Carlos Gu who sat pretty at the top of the leaderboard, thanks to them getting a brilliant combined score of 78 out of 80.

Amber and her pro partner Nikita Kuzmin were just behind them on 77, with George and Alexis third on 72 and Balvinder and Julian, the hot favourites to go this weekend, having already been in the dance-off five times, in last position on 70.

This week’s Strictly results show has been ‘delayed’ to a later time slot, but the fans who didn’t want to wait until then to find out who made the final and who went home, could out find out by way of the Strictly spoiler, which leaked online shortly before 11pm on Saturday.

Reacting to it, one fan wrote: ‘That’s probably the correct result’ as another disagreed entirely, responding: ‘absolutely the wrong decision’ and a third commented: ‘I knew this was going to be the outcome.’

This week’s Strictly results show will feature performances from James and Kylie Minogue, who will team up with the Strictly pros, before the dance-off airs.
