Strictly fans are in turmoil as spoilers wreak havoc online, exposing eliminations before the official announcement

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left devastated after yet another spoiler leaked online hours before the BBC officially reveals who has been eliminated. Although the results are packaged as a Sunday night staple, viewers know it is filmed immediately after Saturday’s live programme, and leaks continue to spread across social media at lightning speed. This weekend’s spoiler has caused upset among loyal fans, who fumed over the result.

Saturday night’s Halloween special delivered tricks and treats, delivering one of the most dramatic episodes of the series so far. Emmerdale star Lewis Cope stormed to the top of the leaderboard with a perfect 40, the first full marks of the season, sending the studio into meltdown.

Meanwhile, Vicky Pattison broke down in tears as judge Motsi Mabuse boldly predicted she would go “all the way to the final”.

There was also a surprise moment that sent viewers wild when La Voix briefly stood in for Tess Daly. In a twist nobody saw coming, fans instantly began demanding the performer be signed as a permanent host.

However, as the celebrations unfolded, the online atmosphere became tense. Rumours of a shock exit began circulating long before the official announcement. One anxious fan wrote: “Genuinely worried this will come true again. Why are my favourites always in danger?” Another added: “FFS I hope this is wrong.” A third admitted they were refreshing constantly: “I’m not sleeping until that spoiler drops. I’m on EDGE.”

Another viewer confessed they had already been burned: “I got Strictly spoiled last week because someone updated the Wikipedia page before midnight based on the leak. This week I’m checking on purpose because I’m too nervous.”

As the live show came to a close, tension escalated when it was revealed that Shirley Ballas would be casting the deciding vote in the dance-off. We won’t reveal who leaves this week, but fans are sure to be devastated.
