Brooklyn Beckham ‘throws brutal swipe’ at family after snub

Brookyln Beckham has appeared to throw another dig in his family’s direction as he issued a stinging remark. The aspiring chef, 26, has been feuding with his family for several months – a rift that has now escalated to him blocking the rest of the Beckham clan on Instagram, including his famous parents, David and Victoria. Fans believe Brooklyn has now responded to his brother Cruz Beckham, just days after he confirmed his family had not unfollowed Brooklyn and they were actually all blocked.

In the clip, Brooklyn can be seen walking as Lady Gaga’s hit song Telephone plays. Out of all the lyrics in the song, Brooklyn chose to feature the line “sorry I cannot hear you I’m kinda busy,” while the video played. He also emphasised the lyric by writing it in bold text on the screen before shifting focus to promote his Cloud23 hot sauce.

Fans were quick to speculate what Brooklyn really meant, with many believing it was in response to his family.

“Is this for your blocked parents?” one fan commented beneath the video as a second declared: “Saying that to his parents!”

A third posted: “Busy or blocked?”

It comes after Cruz, 20, shared a screenshot of a newspaper article suggesting that Victoria and David had unfollowed Brooklyn but clarified this was incorrect.

He wrote: “NOT TRUE, my mum and dad would not unfollow their son…let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked, as did I.”

Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, have both unfollowed the entire family, suggesting they no longer have regular contact with David, 50, Victoria, 51, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

It was reported that Brooklyn’s decision to block his family was stemmed from Victoria liking a video of him demonstrating how to cook a roast chicken on social media.

The Sun reported that Brooklyn was irked by his mum’s public display of affection, leading him to block the entire family.

As a result of being blocked, the Beckham clan will no longer be able to view any future posts Brooklyn shares.

Brooklyn and Nicola have notably skipped several key Beckham family moments this year, including celebrations for David’s knighthood and his 50th birthday. Meanwhile, David and Victoria, both 51, were absent from the couple’s wedding vow renewal ceremony, which took place in New York in August.
