EMMERDALE actress Anna Nightingale has been locked in a love split mystery after unfollowing her partner of 13 years.

The star is best known for playing unlucky-in-love Andrea Tate on the ITV soap opera but it seems that there is a case of life imitating art with the latest twist in her personal life.

Anna appears to have unfollowed her partner Daren Dixon, the father of her two children, Autumn and Ava.

She has also seemingly wiped her Instagram of any content of him after sharing a post about how 2025 was the “hardest year” she has faced yet.

Anna wrote a lengthy Instagram message about her trials and tribulations of the year – understood to have been sparked by her split misery.

Alongside an AI image of her as an adult hugging her child self, Anna wrote: “2025… you’re a d*** head!

“And not even a quiet one — a loud, chaotic, plot-twist-every-five-minutes kind of d*** head.”

She went on to say: “The hardest year of my life — I won’t sugarcoat it, I won’t pretend otherwise — but somehow, love still climbed in through the window.

“Celebrating Ava’s birthday this week reminded me that kids are sunshine in human form, even when us “grown” ups are lost in the dark without a light.”

Anna did not reference Daren by name but her post appeared to be a thinly-veiled dig at the breakdown of their relationship.

She further went on to suggest she had been hit by trust issues as she responded to a fan saying: “It’s brutal when the people we trust are the people who hurt us.”

Anna is understood to have been in a relationship with Daren since 2012.

On Instagram, he describes himself as a “marketing + AI consultant”.

The Sun has contacted a representative for Anna Nightingale for comment and reached out to Mr Dixon.

Soap star Anna appeared as Andrea in Emmerdale between 2019 and 2021.

Her character was ultimately killed off after she was murdered by the village’s notorious serial killer, Meena Jutla.

Whilst Anna has made little screen appearances since her time on the ITV soap opera, she took part in one episode of the BBC quiz show Celebrity Mastermind in 2022.
