Tyson Fury Boxing Return Date Confirmed as Super-Fight Moves Step Closer

Tyson Fury could return to the ring in a blockbuster fight.

Tyson Fury’s stunning comeback is in the works as a super-fight edges closer following crunch talks.

Fury, 37, retired from boxing in January following his second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.

But a return to the ring is on the cards, with promoter Frank Warren confirming the ‘Gypsy King’ will fight next year.

Warren spoke to Fury last week and revealed the star fighter’s insistence to have another contest despite calling time on his legendary career at the start of the year.

“I spoke to him last week; he said that he’s going to come back and fight next year. He wants to do it,” he told DAZN News.

“He’s had a very busy year this year. He’s obviously not had a fight this year, but as we’ve all seen, he’s had his documentary. He’s been filming with Netflix for his At Home with the Fury’s series.

“He’s also got another documentary that he’s finishing off, plus other things. he wants. I mean, he’s told me categorically he wants to fight next year. So, we’ll sit down and see.”

Who will Tyson Fury fight?

Fury has lost back-to-back fights to Usyk, who won their latest meeting by unanimous decision, having won their first bout via split decision.

And the Brit could be looking to return to the win column against one of his biggest rivals.

Promoter Eddie Hearn claims Turki Alalshikh is pushing to match Fury against Anthony Joshua.

Hearn recently flew out to Saudi Arabia to meet Alalshikh, who is aiming to make the all-British showdown.

“He wants to make AJ against Fury, that’s no secret,” said Hearn.

“He wants to make the biggest fights in the sport and that is the biggest fight in boxing right now.

“We’ve got to agree our end and then it’s up to Turki whether he can get Fury in the ring.”

The Matchroom chief added: “The best thing about these situations now is that it’s not me speaking to Frank Warren or Spencer Brown or Tyson Fury trying to do a deal.

“We just have to do our deal and if Turki can make the fight then it’s on. If he can’t, it’s not on. We are focussing on that side.

“We have a plan for AJ to get him back in the ring as soon as possible and then lead up to a huge fight against Tyson Fury in 2026.

“We will do our deal with Turki and he will try and do his deal with Tyson Fury. Fingers crossed we can make it happen.”

Like Fury, Joshua is also coming off a defeat, having succumbed to Daniel Dubois in their world title bout last September.

A January bout in Africa has been mooted, which could precede a monstrous clash against Fury.
