Strictly star dealt devastating blow from pro just hours before live show

Strictly Come Dancing’s Balvinder Sopal has been dealt a devastating blow just hours before the live show, as she has been tipped to be the latest star axed. Mecca Bingo has revealed the latest odds for the next elimination, with the EastEnders star topping the list with odds of 3/5. She is narrowly followed by La Voix at 2/1 after she landed in the dance-off last week.

The bookies also spoke to former Strictly pro Ola Jordan, who has agreed that she thinks Balvinder will be the next star to leave the show.

She said: “It’s hard to predict this week. La Voix ended up in the dance-off last week, but she’s doing Couple’s Choice this week, which will likely give her a boost and keep her out of the bottom two. George and Alexis are doing the Rumba, which could be challenging for him, so he might be at risk of slipping into the bottom two.”

“Balvinder is performing the American Smooth. She may or may not be safe, but I’d put my money on Balvinder being the most likely to go. With La Voix bouncing back with a Couple’s Choice, the odds are stacked against Balvinder.”

“Vicky has the Jive, which she will probably find quite hard, but from what we’ve seen in the training room, it looked alright. It’ll really come down to how she delivers it on the night.”

“It’s a tough week because everyone wants to make it to Blackpool, but someone has to leave. I still think Balvinder is the most vulnerable – if the votes aren’t coming in, she’ll end up in the bottom two, and if she’s up against someone stronger, that could be the end of the road for her.”

“La Voix has drifted out slightly to 2/1 from 8/1, suggesting their inconsistent performances are keeping them on the danger list, but punters see a chance they might survive another week. She survived the dance off last week – has she got what it takes to survive another week?”
