During an episode of ABC World News Tonight, David Muir once again halted his show to address a serious topic.
This time, it was surrounding Israel’s shocking move to strike Qatar in a bid to target Hamas leaders in Doha. The 51-year-old journalist gave viewers the latest, stating, “Here with the US stunned by an Israeli attvck targeting Hamas leaders inside Qatar, a key US ally, Israel tonight, saying it was justified, Qatar, saying Israel is sabotaging the talks to end the wvr. He continued, “And later today, Qatar saying the warning they got from the US was 10 minutes after the attvck.
Here’s our chief foreign correspondent, Ian Pannell, leading us off. ” Speaking live from Qatar, Ian pointed out that the US were only warned about the str!kes a “short time before” they went ahevd – a move that hasn’t sat well with President Truwp.Pannell also explained how Hamas insisted the attvck “didn’t k!ll a single leader, that it was a failure, instead k!ll!ng three Hamas security guards, the son of one of the leaders, along with a worker and a Qatari guard.
A clip of a Qatari official, speaking at a press conference, was then played, as he declared, “The attack happened at 3:46. The first call we had from an American official was at 3:5,6 which is 10 minutes after the attvck.”
