Michael Strahan laughs as he aims ruthless dig at Terry Bradshaw on FOX NFL Sunday

Michael Strahan couldn’t stop himself from taking a playful jab at Terry Bradshaw after the former quarterback provided his two cents on the Eagles’ ‘tush push’ play

Michael Strahan couldn’t help but aim an unsubtle dig at Terry Bradshaw after the 77-year-old accidentally aged himself.

While discussing the Eagles’ 20-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of Super Bowl LIX, Bradshaw — who encountered a predictable name problem on-air — voiced his disapproval of Philadelphia’s divisive “tush push.”

“I, for one, don’t like it,” he said on FOX NFL Sunday. “I would’ve voted against having the tush push but, you know what, it’s still in there. This is the old scrum football back in the 1940s, so eventually I think they’ll stop it.

“Today, it was hard for me to believe that Kansas City has now lost three in a row. Last year they only lost two games all year til the Super Bowl.”

Sensing a golden opportunity to poke fun at Bradshaw’s age, Strahan chimed in: “Wait, backing up, were you running a tush push in the 40s?”

Bradshaw, to his credit, took the playful jab in stride, clapping back: “You know, the tush push was my idea!” Strahan let out a hearty laugh before admitting, “You set yourself up, I couldn’t help it!”

In reality, Bradshaw didn’t make his professional debut until three decades later than Strahan jokingly suggested.

After graduating from Louisiana Tech University with nearly all of the program’s passing records at the time, he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the No. 1 pick in the 1970 NFL Draft.

In 1974, Bradshaw secured his first of four championship rings by defeating the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IX, during which he completed 9-of-14 passes for 96 yards and one touchdown while also rushing five times for 30 yards.

Four years later, Bradshaw turned in the best season of his decorated playing career, winning the NFL MVP award before propelling the Steelers to a 35-31 win over the Dallas Cowboys while setting Super Bowl records for passing yards (318) and touchdowns (four).

The Steelers were crowned back-to-back champs the following season, taking down the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl XIV behind Bradshaw’s 309 yards through the air and two touchdowns.

Once nagging elbow injuries forced Bradshaw to step away from football in 1983 following 14 seasons with the Steelers, the three-time Pro Bowler became a studio analyst in 1994 on the newly created FOX NFL Sunday show alongside James Brown, Howie Long, and Jimmy Johnson.

Speaking to reporters back in February, Bradshaw revealed that he has several more years left in the booth before retiring altogether. “I told my wife before I left the room a while ago, I’m sitting there… I said, ‘I’ve got two years left at FOX. I’m 76’,” he explained.

“I said, ‘If we can get to the next Super Bowl, I’ll be 80. That’s… I think that’s time.’ 80 years old, that’s pushing it!”
