Harry, 40, insisted that speaking out wasn’t a matter of “stubbornness,” saying, “It is having principles.”

“It is not about revenge, it is about accountability,” the royal continued, adding, “You cannot have reconciliation before you have truth.”

He and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been outspoken about his feud with his family since resigning from their royal duties in 2020 and moving to California, where they are raising their kids: Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.

In Harry’s 2023 memoir, he alleged that his brother, Prince William, attacked him after the latter labeled Markle as “difficult,” “rude” and “abrasive,” per the Guardian.

“It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor,” he alleged.

“I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

In the book, Harry also stated that Charles, now 76, referred to him as a “spare” to his mother, Princess Diana, after his birth in 1984.

Harry wrote that the patriarch allegedly celebrated his arrival by telling the late royal, “Now you’ve given me an heir and a spare — my work is done.”

Charles’ alleged comment refers to the line of succession for the royal family, with his eldest child, William, now 43, being the first to inherit the throne before Harry.

William, however, has since tied the knot with Kate Middleton and welcomed three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, leaving Harry as fifth in line.

Harry also spoke out against Charles and William in his and Markle’s bombshell 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, claiming that the two were stuck in their roles.

“It’s been really hard,” he stated. “I am part of the system with them, I always have been, but I guess — and I’m very aware of this — my brother can’t leave that system, but I have.”
