The segment will also give viewers a sneak peek at the new Niagara Falls immersive ride, Niagara Takes Flight.

Filming is closed to the public.

“50 States in 50 Weeks: America the Beautiful” follows a “GMA” anchor or correspondent as they visit a new state each week. The series features the states in the order they were admitted to the US., highlighting their unique culture, history, and landmarks. It kicked off on July 3 in Delaware and is now in its 11th week, where it will stop in New York.

Originally from the Carolinas, the Tuscarora people migrated north to New York in the early 1700s after being driven from their homes by colonial conflicts. They were adopted as the sixth nation into the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederacy and eventually settled on land near Niagara Falls, where they continue to reside today.

The special segment will air on Friday’s “GMA” broadcast, which runs from 7 to 9 a.m. ET on ABC. You can also stream the show live on ABC.com or with a Hulu Live TV subscription. After it airs, the episode will be available for streaming all day on Disney+ and on-demand
