The 53-year-old is a New York Giants legend.
He played 15 years as a defensive end in New York before retiring in 2007.
Speaking on Fox NFL Sunday, via X, Strahan jokes about receiving an NFL recall.
He said, “I’m kind of like Brad Pitt in that F1 movie.
“I believe there’s a little bit of magic left in the tank.
“Give me just one more time, baby. Give me just one more time.”
After the comment, Strahan went on to discuss the Steelers ahead of their first game in the 2025 NFL season.
He said, “Tom Brady, who is the goat, called Aaron Rodgers the greatest passer the league has ever seen.
“They bring in DK Metcalfe. They have a defense. This team hasn’t had a losing season under Mike Tomlin.
“They just haven’t won a playoff game in eight years.

Why Josh Allen vs Lamar Jackson is the new Brady vs Manning
“I do think that Aaron Rodgers can make a difference.”
Rob Gronkowski did say, however, that Rodgers could tarnish his reputation if he doesn’t prove he can play at this level in his 40s.
The 41-year-old joined the Steelers ahead of the 2025 season on a one-year contract.
The QB spent his first 18 seasons in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers, winning the Super Bowl in 2011.
After nearly two decades with the organisation, he was traded to the New York Jets.
