The couple revealed baby George won’t be eating festive turkey just yet 

Patrick and Emily shared a warm update on baby George as they celebrate his first Christmas together.

The couple revealed the little one, who had been “impeccably behaved” at the carol concert, woke them up every 45 minutes last night.

 

Dressed in a festive outfit reading “My First Christmas”, George even enjoyed a mid-morning nap while tuned into GB News.

Patrick and Emily spoke about their Christmas plans, including a carol service and family visits up north.

Speaking to Mark White and Dawn Neesom Christmas morning, Patrick said: “He’s having a nap — he’s currently fast asleep. This has actually been working for hours now.

“We’re all getting ready for lunch. Emily and I are going to nip off to a church carol service later, then it’s back up north to see my mum and dad, and George’s great-grandma tomorrow.

“So it’s going to be a busy few days. The presents are yet to be opened, so we don’t know what Santa has brought, but we’ll find out soon.

“George is still on a milk-only diet, so he won’t be enjoying any turkey just yet.

The couple joined GB News viewers for Christmas morning

“I think he was so excited to see whether Father Christmas had arrived that he woke up every half hour to check last night.”

Yesterday, while hosting GB News Breakfast, the couple revealed their plans for their first Christmas as a family.

They also shared a new image of Baby George with the GB News audience.

The image showed George resting in his basket in front of a roaring fire, with the family dog, Bob, sitting close by.

Emily joked that Bob was “no longer the baby of the family” and was still adjusting to the new arrival.

The pair laughed that George and Bob do not interact much yet, though they hope the two will become friends in time.

George Alexander Peter Christys was born in the early hours of Friday, September 5, this year.

Taking to social media at the time that George was born, Patrick said: “He’s a very happy, healthy, much-loved little boy and the beautiful Emily Carver was amazing throughout.

“Life lesson #1 George: Always love and respect your mother.”

Emily added: “Little bit of news!! Our little tiny baby George has arrived.”
