Prince Harry could propose group therapy to his father and brother in an attempt to mend their fractured relationship, according to a royal expert. The Duke of Sussex has remained largely estranged from his family following his and Meghan Markle’s departure from the UK and royal duties in 2020.

While there have been tentative steps towards reconciliation with King Charles, Harry’s prospects of reconciling with William appear increasingly distant. In fact, the Prince of Wales is reportedly willing to remove Harry’s titles upon ascending to the throne.

Harry presently resides in California with Meghan and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The Duke has previously spoken about undergoing therapy to address the trauma of losing his mother, Princess Diana.

He notably documented sessions on camera during the Apple TV+ documentary series The Me You Can’t See, and revealed in his memoir Spare that it was William who encouraged him to pursue professional support. It has now been suggested he might invite his relatives to participate in helping heal past grievances.

A forthcoming royal documentary on Channel 5 is scheduled to examine Harry’s journey. Prince Harry In Therapy will broadcast this Saturday and will feature TV psychotherapist Anjula Mutand proposing the trio pursue counselling together.

She says: “The question is, would Charles and William be prepared to have therapy with Harry? So, family therapy rather than individual therapy.

“Does Harry want to talk to his Dad first or his brother first? It’s anyone’s guess what happens but if he’s prepared to go on that journey and understand it’s going to be difficult, then that’s a choice for him to make.”
