The YouTube star is set to compete in the final against Amber Davies and Karen Carney

“I don’t think we’ve…. sorry”, said choked up George, as he started to sob and was comforted by his dance partner Alexis Warr.

“I don’t really think we’ve thought about [the final].

“I’ve really tried not to this week because I think that’s why we’ve enjoyed the process so much – we’ve been so present.”

As he became overwhelmed with emotion again, George said: “Sorry, this is awful of me.”

He added: “We’ve been so present and focused on each week, I’ve really enjoyed that.

“I mean it would be incredible to lift the glitterball trophy.

“I’ve got insane amounts of imposter syndrome anyway from getting this far, but I think no matter whether we go home with the trophy or not, it won’t be a week of celebration.

“I think Sunday and especially Monday will hit incredibly hard not going into it. It’s crazy.”

From Love Island to Brit awards, 2025’s most complained about shows

George’s tears come as it was revealed his ex co-star Thomas Skinner is suing the BBC — claiming it rigged voting to get him off the show as quickly as possible.

The ex-Apprentice star, whose catchphrase is “Bosh”, says he has proof the Beeb downplayed his public support because of negative publicity.

Thomas, 34, and pro Amy Dowden then fell into the bottom two and lost a dance-off.

He is boycotting tomorrow’s final, the last for hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.
