Shortly before the Aussie final, which aired Down Under tonight, host Sophie Monk introduced a dramatic twist to the show.
Usually the only money offered to the Islanders is the £50K prize pot, that is awarded to the winning couple.
However, host Sophie revealed the new Love or Money twist.
She told the Islanders they could bag £20k if they stood up and left the villa straight away, and gave up any chance of being in the final.
Gathered around the firepit, Dylan shocked fans when he chose this guaranteed option, leaving Kody, who he was coupled up with, sitting there alone and single.
His fellow Islanders were left horrified with one branding him a “greedy ****.”
Fans will be hoping this new aspect of the Aussie Love Island could be introduced as a new twist to shake-up the UK summer series.
A source added: “Love Island Australia doing this gives a huge clue it could come to UK too, as they often borrow dramatic format points from different editions of the global franchise.”
However, nothing has been revealed or confirmed about the forthcoming summer 2026 series, so it is too early to speculate.
ALL STARS RETURNS
Meanwhile, fans don;t have long to wait for the Love Island UK’s All Stars to kick off.

Viewers will get their villa fix when the show returns next month.
The Sun has been keeping fans up-to-date with all the possible Islanders who are expected to be on this year’s show.
We recently revealed how Love Island exes Remell Mullins, 24, and Alima Gagigo, 23,. are set for an explosive reunion on All Stars.
The stars rose to reality fame on this summer’s series of the hit dating show, and their romance didn’t go to plan.
Alima was in a couple with Remell before he got dumped from the villa as the “least popular boy”.
He sealed his fate when he snogged bombshell Poppy behind Alima’s back, and shared a bed with her for two nights at the Sleepover.
Now, they’re set to come face to face again as they have another shot at love.
A source told The Sun: “Alima and Remell had a bumpy time in the villa after starting off strong and then his head got turned, but now they are set to come face to face again as both are in the mix to enter the All Stars villa.
“At the moment the starting line up isn’t finalised, so it’s not clear who will be an OG and who will be a bombshell, but it will be super awkward for the pair to be sharing a roof again.
“That said, perhaps they will find there is unfinished business between them and the spark will reignite?”

ICON RETURNS
The Sun also revealed how a former Love Island winner will also be taking part.
Beauty clinic owner Jess Harding, 25, was a huge hit when she was on the show in 2023, and now it looks like she is ready for her comeback.
A source said: “Jess is ready to find love and have some fun in the sun, after a period of me time.
“Her last villa romance may not have lasted, but she won the show and a lot of great stuff came out of that experience for her, so why not give it another go?
“She’s more experienced now and knows what she wants. The next romance could be the one.”
Other names tipped for the villa include controversial Islanders Ronnie Vint, 29. and Harrison Solomon, 22.
